What are the UK Dev Awards?
The UK Dev Awards are hosted by Don’t Panic, a Manchester-based awards agency recognised by the Independent Awards Standards Council.
The awards serve as an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the businesses that use technology to grow – from UX to creativity, functionality and conversion.
The awards shortlist was announced on the 12th of February and the virtual awards ceremony will be held on the 11th of March at 8 p.m. GMT.
What category have we been shortlisted for and what are the criteria?
The category we have been shortlisted for is App of the Year, in which entrants from any sector must demonstrate outstanding design and UX as well as creativity, innovation and technical prowess for a chance at being shortlisted.
The judges assess the app’s back and front-end development as well as its functionality based on your award entry submission.
For consideration by the panel judging this category, we submitted our case study on the bespoke app we created with INEOS TEAM UK that gave them a competitive edge in their challenge for the 36th America’s Cup this year.
We are proud to say this work helped INEOS TEAM UK win the Prada Cup Round Robins, the closest the team has gotten to winning the America’s Cup in over 100 years.
We are looking forward to continuing to improve the app with INEOS TEAM UK and Britain’s Royal Yacht Squadron.
