Engaging Education
Part of our company mission is to engage with and build long-term relationships with local, regional and national educational institutions. Through this, we hope not only to inspire the next generation of tech innovators and enthusiasts within the community but also to bring about positive change within the technology industry – across schools, colleges and universities.
Why Education is Important to Coderus
At Coderus, we understand the importance of access to high-quality education and the power it has to open the doors to exciting new opportunities for young people, especially those interested in careers in technology. We support this access in a number of ways.
Our primary goal in this area is to support local educational institutions by inspiring the students, parents and teachers to engage with businesses and organisations that can offer exceptional opportunities and work experience in the software development and tech industry.
By engaging students with our products, services and sharing our knowledge and experience, we hope to inspire the world’s future leaders in technology.
How does Coderus get involved in the education sector?
Continued learning is one of our core values which we like to extend to the local community wherever possible, from sourcing the best graduate talent and fueling their passion and knowledge for the sector to offering valuable professional development and training opportunities.
In recent years, we have proudly taken part in Science and Technology Careers Fairs at Adastral Park, where we’re based, and promoted a variety of opportunities for technology and software training such as summer internships and permanent development roles.
We have built lasting, engaging partnerships with educational institutions across East Anglia and Cambridgeshire including Anglia Ruskin University, University of Suffolk, University of Essex, University of East Anglia, Suffolk New College, Suffolk One, Kesgrave High School, Debenham High School and Langham Oaks School.
In particular, we have played an active role in the promotion of tech careers at the University of Suffolk, where we have attended regular Meet and Greet events in partnership with the University’s student Careers and Employability Team.
