Sustainability Promise #1: Sustainable Partners and Suppliers
Coderus’ offices are held in building spaces and communities that prioritise sustainability and we choose to partner with businesses and suppliers that have sustainability goals they are actively working towards.
Some of these goals and holistic approaches include:
- Protecting the long-term productivity and health of resources to meet future economic and social needs
- Ensuring that economic decisions are intergenerational and focus on implications for future and current generations
- Utilising renewable and alternative sources of energy such as solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, hydrogen energy (hydropower), tidal energy, wave energy, hydroelectric energy and biomass energy
- Preventing consequences of climate change and human-made global warming
- Protecting ecosystems, ecological structures and the diversity of species
- Treating environmental resources as beings that have intrinsic rights and values
- Prioritising social welfare and happiness and environmental sustainability above GDP
Sustainability Promise #2: Sustainable Mindset
Coderus’ sustainability promises are based around “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink and Recover”.
We uphold these by:
- Reducing the amount of waste we produce by utilising eSign for documentation and Magic Surfaces to write and record notes
- Reusing items as much as we can before replacing them and ensuring each of our team members has a reusable coffee mug and water bottle
- Recycling goods, office supplies and technology equipment and purchasing and renting second-hand equipment wherever possible
- Rethinking how our actions impact the environment and utilising sustainable suppliers where feasible and recyclable materials when sourcing products for Coderus business operations and Coderus clients
- Recovering waste items and putting them to alternative use
Sustainability Promise #3: Sustainable Offices
Coderus’ office locations are based in technological ecosystems that prioritise sustainability in various ways. Our current offices are located in:
- BT’s Adastral Park | Ipswich, U.K.
- St John’s Innovation Centre as part of St John’s Innovation Park | Cambridge, U.K.
- St George’s Works | Norwich, U.K.
Coderus also utilises AWAIR sensors in our main Ipswich office to ensure we are being as sustainable as possible. These sensors track:

- Humidity (%)
- CO₂ (ppm)
- TVOCs (ppb)
- PM 2.5 (µg/m³)
- Light (lx)
- Noise (dB)
