Coderus is thrilled to have Emily rejoining the team this month after taking a break from Coderus to have a go at freelancing early last year.
Emily will be working within the public relations and marketing team as our junior UX/UI designer to support our social media efforts, website improvements and creative projects in-house.
I have been so lucky to have so many opportunities in my (so far) short design career, working with some cool clients while at Coderus but also whilst freelancing – for example creating Instagram GIFs for some local estate agents.
Emily graduated from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge in 2019 with a 2:1 BA Degree in Graphic Design, joining Coderus that summer in an intern role that led to a full-time graphic design role within the public relations and marketing department.
Before she returned to Coderus this month, Emily was doing freelance design work, creating branding, logos and GIFs for some local companies.
As if that wasn’t enough, Emily also started her own baking business, @thesugarscoopco. Emily is really proud to be not only the founder and sole baker of her business, but she also designed all of the branding and social media content herself – which has so far been very successful!
We’re really excited to have Emily back working with us and we can’t wait to see the amazing design work she creates for us.
